A khaki U.S. Marine Corps summer tunic with fire bronze eagle, globe, and anchor insignia on the collar, brown-painted U.S Marines buttons, a WWI victory medal ribbon with four silver stars, pin back Lieutenants bars on each epaulet, a tag on the inside left facing marked "WASHINGTON, D.C./J.M. STEIN & CO./523 13TH ST. N.W./LT. L.R. LONG", and a notebook with information about Long. Note: Capt. Lothar Reymond Long was born in Chicago on January 29, 1892. He served with the 6th Machine Gun Battalion, 4th Brigade, 2nd Division during WWI receiving five silver star citations. A letter he wrote describing the Battle for Belleau Wood was published in the Adirondack Enterprise on August 23, 1918. He died of an unexplained gunshot wound on September 23, 1920 near Belleau Wood, France.

Condition
Has some light wear from age and use but in overall very good condition.
